Work shoes for the industry
Safety shoes or safety boots are mandatory in many areas of industry work as they protect against potential hazards while providing a good grip. Furthermore, skid resistance, the durability and the longevity of the safety shoe are particularly important. In addition, a sporty design, comfort and an ergonomic footbed are a must.
Without safety shoes, injuries such as a sprain, contusion or cuts can occur. These injuries can be caused by, for example, one of the following things:
- falling objects
- forklift or lift truck
- machinery
- nails or shavings lying around
- slipping
- chemical and biological pollution
- electrical voltage
However, injuries can also be caused by:
- a wrong footbed for priority activities
- long-term damage to the back due to incorrect shoes
According to the Occupational Health and Safety Act, as an employer you must assess within the risk assessment which foot protection is suitable for the respective work environment and corresponding activity.

ESD (Electrostatic Discharge) Safety Shoes - Specially Protected!
ESD safety shoes protect against electrostatic charges and are antistatic. In factories with electrostatically sensitive components or materials, the smallest spark can make these parts unusable. In order to avoid damage, safety shoes are worn for activities involving microchips, when working with electrical components, laser heads or highly flammable liquids or gases. ESD safety shoes are available as a low shoe, boots or sandals. These are used, among others, in the following industries:
- circuit boards
- paint shop
- medical field
